Young singer and choreographer, he grew and brought up in Delhi, visited City Beautiful to promote his new Punjabi single track – ‘Dream’, released by PTC.
Manik has worked with renowned artists such as Honey Singh, Raftaar, Bohemia, Alphaaz and Baadshah. Earlier, he has given few songs like Gaadi Slow, Morni Banke (mashup) and Bomb Squad etc.
Manik said that he belonged to a non-filmy and even a non-musical family, but has got a lot of support from his family, due to which he has reached this level today.
During the conversation, Manik said that the song ‘Dream’ was just a hookline for him, which later turned out as a song. “The song is produced by Robin Dhawan and it has been shot at beautiful locations in Delhi. The song is a reflection of my thoughts,” he said.
Comparing Bollywood with the international cinema, he said that Indian songs are equally appreciated by people all over the world. Mithun and Raj Kapoor have a great following in West Asia, while Amitabh Bachchan is liked in Egypt, Shah Rukh Khan in Europe and Aamir Khan in China.
He said that some of his projects were still in pipeline, which included few tracks in Hindi as well as in Punjabi.
